Job description

This is a remote position.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM Wilmington, DE time, with 1 hour unpaid break

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop robust and scalable backend systems using Java, Python, and other relevant languages.
Architect efficient and reusable frontend components using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Collaborate closely with product management and UX/UI teams to translate product requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
Implement and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and services.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the entire stack, from frontend to backend.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software development and system architecture.
Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on coding practices, architecture, and troubleshooting techniques.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospective meetings.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React.js, Angular, or Vue.js).
Experience with back-end technologies: Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, or .NET.
Database management: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Version control systems: Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
Cloud services: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred).
Familiarity with containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes (a plus).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Mobile development experience (React Native, Flutter, or Swift/Kotlin) is a plus.
