Salary Range:
up to 3000 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (CST)

About the Company:

Sagan represents a company in the construction and project management sector, seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to support their Estimating and Project Execution teams.

Position Overview:

The Procurement Coordinator will play a key role in managing procurement, purchasing, and contract administration for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry and be skilled in issuing RFPs/RFQs, tracking supplier responses, analyzing quotes, and making award recommendations. This position requires close coordination with Estimating, Operations, and vendors to ensure materials and services are procured efficiently and in compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process for construction projects, including issuing RFPs/RFQs to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Track responses, analyze bids, and make award recommendations.
  • Issue purchase orders (POs), subcontracts, and work orders.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors.
  • Monitor deliveries and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
  • Process change orders and maintain compliance with company policies.
  • Act as a liaison between Estimating, Operations, and vendors for clear communication.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction procurement or a related field.
  • Strong ability to coordinate multiple projects and procurement tasks.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to analyze supplier bids effectively.
  • Proficiency in procurement and contract management systems.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with construction contracts and vendor management.
  • Prior experience in procurement roles within the construction or engineering industry.
