Summary:
OnTrac’s Last Mile Operations (LMO) is looking for a Senior Director of Regional Service Providers (RSP) Recruiting . They will lead the strategy to identify , acquire , and onboard high-quality RSPs, leveraging expertise in sales, lead generation, and onboarding processes. This role is ideal for a leader who understands how to attract and scale independent delivery businesses efficiently.
Reporting to the VP of LMO, t he Senior Director will use data-driven profiling to target ideal RSP candidates and collaborate with Operations and Marketing to build and execute high-impact recruitment campaigns. A strong background in sales pipeline management and conversion optimization will be essential in ensuring outreach efforts translate into engaged and qualified RSPs.
Additionally, the Senior Director will streamline onboarding through automation, reducing friction in the process and improving retention. Close collaboration with Operations will ensure a smooth post-onboarding transition, strengthening long-term success and reducing early attrition. This role requires a leader who can drive rapid expansion, optimize lead-to-launch conversion rates, and scale a high-performing RSP network through best-in-class recruitment and onboarding strategies.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Recruitment & Acquisition
- Develop and execute a comprehensive RSP recruitment strategy to identify and acquire high-quality Regional Service Providers.
- Leverage data-driven insights to create ideal RSP profiles and improve targeting for outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with Marketing to design and implement high-impact lead generation campaigns that drive qualified RSP interest.
- Partner with the Negotiations team to align recruitment efforts with business requirements and secure RSP agreements at competitive rates.
Pipeline Management & Lead Conversion
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective RSPs, ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates.
- Optimize the recruitment funnel, tracking key performance metrics to improve conversion rates from lead generation to contract signing.
- Implement sales and engagement strategies to attract top-tier RSPs, leveraging experience in B2B sales, negotiations, and service partnerships.
- Continuously refine messaging and outreach tactics based on performance data and industry trends.
Onboarding & Operational Handoff
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for new RSPs.
- Automate and streamline onboarding workflows to reduce friction, shorten timelines, and improve the RSP launch experience.
- Work closely with Operations to ensure a smooth post-onboarding transition, increasing retention and reducing early attrition.
- Align onboarding processes with LMO objectives, ensuring new RSPs are equipped for long-term success.
Team Development & Performance Optimization
- M entor a high-performing RSP regional recruitment team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics for regional recruiters, ensuring alignment with business goals and recruitment targets.
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to enhance the team's sales, negotiation, and recruitment capabilities.
Technology & Data-Driven Insights
- Introduce and implement a backend system to track recruitment activity, providing daily insights into performance, lead conversion, and bottlenecks.
- Develop real-time dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key metrics such as pipeline health, outreach effectiveness, onboarding timelines, and attrition risks.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement, optimizing recruitment and onboarding strategies accordingly.
- Leverage automation and CRM tools to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve decision-making across the recruitment lifecycle.
Collaboration & Leadership
- P roviding regular updates on recruitment performance, onboarding success, and market dynamics to the VP of LMO and COO
- Work hand in hand with Negotiations, Marketing, and Operations to balance recruitment volume with business needs and financial targets.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, leveraging the best in class to refine and evolve best practices for RSP growth.

- Ability to gain buy-in from senior leadership and stakeholders to drive the change needed for scaling and optimizing the RSP program.
- Adept at navigating organizational complexities, overcoming resistance, and implementing best-in-class solutions.
Sales, Negotiation & Recruitment Expertise
- Strong background in lead generation, pipeline management, and sales conversion in a high-volume, data-driven environment.
- Experience structuring and negotiating partnerships with small businesses , ensuring terms align with business objectives .
- Ability to optimize messaging, outreach, and negotiation tactics to attract and close deals with the best RSP candidates.
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
- Track record of streamlining onboarding processes, leveraging automation and technology to enhance efficiency.
- Ability to identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions that improve lead-to-launch timelines and retention rates.
- Process-oriented mindset, ensuring recruitment operations are repeatable, scalable, and continuously improving.
Leadership & Team Development
- Strong leadership skills with experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing recruitment teams.
- Ability to set clear KPIs and performance expectations, driving accountability and results.

Minimum Requirements:
- Ba chelor’s degree in Business , Sales, Marketing, Operations, or a related field (MBA or Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, or partner acquisition within a high-growth, data-driven environment.
- 5+ years of leadership experience, managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical mindset, with experience using CRM systems, dashboards, and data analytics tools to track recruiting activity and improve conversion rates.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to analyze performance metrics and optimize recruitment strategies.
- Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 15% of the time) to meet with prospective RSPs, attend industry events, and engage with key stakeholders.
