The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sr. Sales Analyst – Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage program management, advanced data science techniques and analytics to drive business performance and optimize commercial outcomes.
This role is responsible for project managing response to large requests for pricing, analyzing large and complex datasets, and providing actionable insights that enhance decision-making across the commercial organization.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and finance, to support success RFP project execution, data-driven strategies that improve revenue, customer acquisition, and overall business growth.
How you will thrive and create an impact:
Request for Pricing (RFP) Project Management:
Reviews, prepares, & processes incoming informal and formal Requests for Proposal (RFPs); assess requirements and compliance guidelines of Request for Proposals (RFPs)
Facilitates RFP kick-off calls and additional implementation calls with business owners and leadership.
Manage internal deadlines to ensure critical RFP deadlines are met.
Coordinates response material from all pertinent parties and departments (i.e. Sales, Contracts & Pricing).
Contacts customers and vendors to collect information and respond to inquiries.
Cross references product matches to provide equivalent or alternative product solutions to the customer.
Ensures the RFP submission response is completed on time and without errors.
Recaps processed proposals for win/loss status.
Utilizes C4C to record daily RFP and quote activity.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Commercial Data Visualization and Insights:
Analyze commercial data to identify opportunities for optimizing key sales metrics such as revenue, pipeline, forecasting and customer trends.
Gather, analyze, and interpret large sets of sales data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to senior management.
Develop dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or similar tools to present complex data in a clear, actionable format for stakeholders.
Data Infrastructure & Automation
Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines to support automated data processing and real-time analytics.
Work with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data is properly collected, stored, and accessible for analysis.
Automate recurring tasks such as reporting, data extraction, and analysis to improve operational efficiency.
Business Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales, marketing, and finance teams to align sales strategies with IOP.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the smooth integration of data sources into Power BI and other reporting systems.
Support the development and refinement of data processes and reporting standards across the organization.
Training and Development:
Partner with training team to infuse analytical thinking across the commercial team, enhancing data literacy and decision-making capabilities within the organization.
Lead workshops and training sessions.
What we're looking for:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in a data science role, preferably within a commercial or business-driven environment.
Strong expertise in project management, statistical analysis, data processing, visualization, etc.
Advanced proficiency in data processing, visualization, and analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, R, and Python.
Familiarity with data platforms (e.g., Snowflakes) and experience working with large-scale datasets.
Commercial acumen with a deep understanding of how data science can drive business growth, revenue, and efficiency.
Experience in the biotech or healthcare industry is highly desirable.
Expertise in statistical and mathematical methodologies for data analysis.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, C4C) and sales performance data.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
Strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.

Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$77,300.00 - $128,700.00Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
