As a Founding Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our innovation—shaping the product, making key technical decisions, and working alongside the founding team to push the boundaries of AI-driven automation. We move fast, collaborate deeply, and are obsessed with building tools that create real impact.

What You’ll Do

Build and Scale: Own and develop key parts of our full-stack web application, API infrastructure, and AI-driven automation workflows.
AI & Workflow Automation: Work on complex technical challenges, including integrating LLMs, abstracting API traffic, and designing intelligent automation for SaaS applications.
Product Ownership: Influence product direction, help define our technical roadmap, and drive the implementation of key features.
Customer-Centric Development: Work closely with early customers to refine our solution and ensure it delivers real business impact.
Technical Leadership: Lay down the engineering foundation, set best practices, and mentor future team members.
Fast Iteration & Experimentation: Operate in a high-velocity startup environment, rapidly prototyping and iterating on product features.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of full-stack engineering experience and love writing Typescript.
Proficiency in modern web application development – React/NextJS and Node.js. Understanding of Python and Elixir/functional programming is a plus.
Has experience building Rich Text editors like Notion and/or would love to build one
Experience building AI/ML apps with LLMs, AI agents and workflow automation
Writes beautiful software and appreciates a good UI design.
Strong problem-solving mindset – ability to break down complex problems and ship high-quality solutions quickly.
Entrepreneurial mindset – thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and enjoys working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Lives in SF/Bay area
