What you will do: 
The Operations Manager at eXp Realty South Africa is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s operational processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and seamless agent support. This role provides leadership, strategic direction, and in-depth knowledge of real estate markets and regulatory compliance to maintain operational efficiency, deliver exceptional client service, and ensure adherence to industry standards. The Operations Manager collaborates with global and local teams to enhance operational effectiveness, improve agent experience, and support the company’s growth strategy.
  • Develop and implement operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Align local operational strategies with eXp Realty’s global objectives.
  • Identify and implement automation and technology solutions to streamline workflows.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure that operations adhere to relevant laws and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new agents, ensuring a smooth transition into eXp Realty.
  • Collaborate with the onboarding team to improve response times and agent satisfaction.
  • Address agent concerns related to operations, compliance, and transactions.
  • Work closely with client services teams to ensure prompt and accurate resolution of client inquiries, concerns, and requests related to operations.
  • Ensure all transactions and business practices comply with South African property laws and eXp Realty’s policies.
  • Manage risk mitigation strategies, including overseeing contractual agreements and compliance guidelines.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate risks and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Work closely with regulatory bodies and legal teams to maintain adherence to industry standards.
  • Supervise the transactions team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in listing and mandate management.
  • Implement and enforce guidelines for property transactions, agent commissions, and document management.
  • Address and resolve disputes related to listings, commissions, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor operational budgets, subscription fees, and revenue share distributions.
  • Work with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payment processing for agents.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize cost efficiency and improve financial operations.
  • Oversee the integration of real estate technology tools, such as Lightstone, Virtual Agent, and HubSpot.
  • Support the adoption of AI-driven tools to improve efficiency in listing management and agent support.
  • Provide training and resources to ensure agents and staff effectively use available technology.
  • Proficient knowledge of G Suite required; Microsoft Office experience is a bonus.
  • Attend key company events, including roadshows, webinars, and training sessions.
  • Work with training and development teams to ensure agents receive ongoing education and skills enhancement.
  • Coordinate logistics for company-wide events such as the eXp Annual Awards and regional meet-ups.
  • Experience in coordinating events and group activities.
  • Track and analyze key operational performance indicators.
  • Provide regular reports to leadership on operational performance, agent onboarding, transaction volume, and compliance adherence.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Utilize the Coda platform to streamline team management and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and facilitate leadership training programs to cultivate strong, effective leaders.
  • Organize team-building initiatives to engage, mobilize, and motivate the leadership team.
  • Foster a leadership-centric culture with a strong focus on agent support and motivation.
  • Collaborate and maintain open communication with international line management to optimize team performance.
  • Uphold and promote eXp’s core values, emphasizing relationships, agent services, and support tools.
  • Establish annual objectives, drive key projects, and oversee the implementation of critical performance indicators via Coda.
  • Lead change management initiatives to refine and optimize transaction processes from start to finish.
  • Develop and implement standardized operating procedures across departments to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Work closely with department heads to oversee and support daily operational functions.
  • Transform eXp World into a dynamic and engaging hub for seamless communication and collaboration
How you will grab our attention: 
Education:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in real estate or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of South African real estate regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in managing remote teams and coordinating cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency in technology and real estate software platforms (e.g., Lightstone, Virtual Agent, HubSpot, CRM tools).
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
