Position Overview
The Junior Security and Compliance Analyst is an entry-level position designed to provide essential support for security and compliance tasks. Reporting to the Director of Security and Compliance, this role focuses on managing and triaging security tickets, monitoring cloud operations, and acting as a liaison between teams. The role provides a foundation for growth into more advanced security and compliance responsibilities through structured supervision and mentorship.
Job ResponsibilitiesManage security-related tickets and incident reports, including triage, routing, and basic resolution, with clear escalation paths to Security, IT, and Cloud Operations teamsMonitor and respond to InfoSec communications, developing expertise to handle increasingly complex security inquiries under supervisionServe as a bridge between Security and Cloud Operations teams by:Monitoring and managing security-related Jira ticketsProviding initial security and compliance guidance for Cloud Ops initiativesConducting first-level security reviews of proposed Cloud Ops changesSupport AI security initiatives through risk identification and escalationMaintain security and compliance documentation aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other frameworksPartner with senior team members on cloud infrastructure and application change reviewsSupport security awareness programs and employee education initiativesOther duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experienceDemonstrated organizational skills and meticulous attention to detailWorking knowledge of fundamental security concepts including:
