ABOUT THE ROLE
The financial analyst will work in our accounting and finance team, focusing on forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting for Happy Money. The finance team works closely across all departments to identify business needs and opportunities, review financial performance and forecast future performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and enhance financial reporting to provide key stakeholders with visibility into company performance and expense management.
Support forecasting and budgeting processes, working closely with department leads to ensure accurate financial projections.
Analyze monthly and quarterly financial performance, identifying key trends, variances, and business drivers.
Create dynamic financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.
Partner with business leaders to track key performance indicators (KPIs), providing data-driven recommendations.
Contribute to cash flow, balance sheet, and long-term financial planning initiatives.
Support corporate financial deliverables, including business reviews and board presentations.
Assist in month-end and quarter-end financial close processes, collaborating with Accounting to analyze financial results.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or similar discipline
1-3 years of experience in finance, FP&A, business strategy, or strategic planning
Ability to analyze large data sets and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Strong financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Ability to convey drivers of business performance and next steps in written and verbal communications
Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
