WHO YOU ARE:
A highly motivated leader who is passionate about helping people realize their full potential through training and development; you truly enjoy working with people and have worked in the car rental industry overseeing multiple locations. You are inspiring and motivational with excellent relationship building skills. With the ability to proactively identify issues and provide solutions, you will lead by example. You exhibit core competency behaviors in areas such as: accountability, adaptability, communication, emotional intelligence, time management, and relationship building.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: As a Performance Leader you will join our Automotive Division and work closely with automotive dealership management and frontline salespeople. You will handle every aspect of client-interaction, from relationship management to the direct coaching of frontline producers, and travel 65% of the time within your territory, working remotely 7 days out of 20.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT
You will be responsible for associate training and development and overall profitably of a rental car branch. You will focus on consultative service based sales management, car rental inventory and utilization management, sales and financial reporting in the following ways:
In partnership with the FPG client, effectively manage rental car operation processes
Establish and maintain positive relationships with the client leadership team
Maximize incremental sales through effective training and employee development
Manage rental car inventory and utilization for multiple dealerships in a geographic territory
Provide continuous consultative support to multiple dealerships
Maintain accurate reports
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent education and work-related experience
3+ years of car rental industry experience
2+ years of experience in a leadership role
Management of direct customer contact, employee relations, budget and P&L review in a high volume operation
Ability to exercise sound judgment and make prudent decisions
Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport across organization with peers, subordinates and supervisors, both written and verbal.
Strong team-oriented leadership skills and proven track record in management role
Ability to attract, evaluate, coach, and advance staff to create an effective organization
Working knowledge of sales reporting systems, including computer programs, reports, policies and procedures
