Note:
- This is a hybrid role, working in the territory 13 days out of 20 (per month)
- The position requires experience working in the CAR RENTAL industry, candidates without experience in this industry will not be considered

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
 
As a Performance Leader you will join our Automotive Division and work closely with automotive dealership management and frontline salespeople.  You will handle every aspect of client-interaction, from relationship management to the direct coaching of frontline producers, and travel 65% of the time within your territory, working remotely 7 days out of 20.


HOW YOU WILL DO IT


You will be responsible for associate training and development and overall profitably of a rental car branch.  You will focus on consultative service based sales management, car rental inventory and utilization management, sales and financial reporting in the following ways:
 
  • In partnership with the FPG client, effectively manage rental car operation processes
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with the client leadership team
  • Maximize incremental sales through effective training and employee development
  • Manage rental car inventory and utilization for multiple dealerships in a geographic territory
  • Provide continuous consultative support to multiple dealerships
  • Maintain accurate reports

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent education and work-related experience
  • 3+ years of car rental industry experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Management of direct customer contact, employee relations, budget and P&L review in a high volume operation
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make prudent decisions
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport across organization with peers, subordinates and supervisors, both written and verbal.
  • Strong team-oriented leadership skills and proven track record in management role
  • Ability to attract, evaluate, coach, and advance staff to create an effective organization
  • Working knowledge of sales reporting systems, including computer programs, reports, policies and procedures
