Job description

Medsphere Systems Corporation, a provider of affordable and interoperable healthcare IT platform solutions, is seeking a Human Resources Manager who can effectively support a geographically dispersed workforce while managing the challenges that come with it. The ideal candidate would not only be an expert in traditional HR functions but also be someone who understands the nuances of managing a dispersed team and is skilled in using technology to keep everything running smoothly. This successful candidate will report to the CFO and must be a self-starter, well organized and able to prioritize expectations of this fast-paced role.   

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees located remotely in 25+states. 
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage benefits programs using HRIS systems. 
  • Implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and improve efficiency across our multi-state locations.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage employee staffing, onboarding, and orientation programs.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs. 
  • Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of broad human resources experience across multiple HR disciplines (employee relations, benefits, staffing, compensation, compliance, understanding of payroll concepts, etc.). 
  • Multi-state human resources administration experience.
  • Skilled in use of an advanced HRIS system (prefer ADP but not required).
  • Experience providing HR support to a mid-sized technology company.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and present results as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Ability to meet and adhere to multiple deadlines while providing an excellent level of customer service to employees, leadership, and vendors. 
  • Exceptional computer skills, including ability to use Windows 365 applications suite; HRIS technology (preferred ADP WFN).. 
  • SHRM certification preferred not required.
  • Work well at multi-tasking in a fast-paced ever moving human resource environment.
  • Ability to maintain an exemplary level of confidentiality
