Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • Part-time, flexible (20hours/week) within the client's business hours. 4 hours a day, five days a week.
  • Client Timezone: Pacific Time (PT), California

Job Description:

The SEO and Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's SEO strategies and social media presence. This role plays a key part in enhancing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and generating leads through creative campaigns, engaging content, and effective use of digital platforms.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Create and manage campaigns to promote products, services, or events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and produce marketing collateral (e.g., brochures, newsletters, presentations).
  • Analyse marketing performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve results.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive positioning.
  • Manage and grow the organization's social media presence across platforms.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging and relevant content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Monitor and respond to user engagement, inquiries, and feedback in a timely manner.
  • Develop and execute paid social media campaigns to boost reach and engagement.
  • Track and report social media analytics, including follower growth, engagement rates, and ROI.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to optimize performance.


Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, social media management, or a related role.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, including SEO, email marketing platforms, and analytics software.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Knowledge of paid advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads).
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
