Director, Operational Excellence & Commercial

 

Position Overview:

Anaqua is seeking a highly motivated Director of Operational Excellence & Commercial to help us achieve our growth goals. This role will support Foreign Filing operations for our international client base. The ideal candidate is highly organized, motivated, and results-oriented.

  • Can identify and mitigate risks related to processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Like working closely with Product and Engineering teams to enhance technology-driven operational efficiency and contribute to the development of automation solutions and process optimizations.
  • Can partner with Product and Engineering to provide operational insights that shape product enhancements and drive innovation in Anaqua’s IP management solutions.
  • Enjoy working closely with other departments and senior leadership to support organizational objectives and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Are focused on enhancing customer satisfaction by ensuring efficient processes and competitive commercial offerings.
  • Enjoy partnering with direct sales staff to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Are skilled at engaging with clients to guide them from contract completion to initial order placement and handoff to the corresponding Anaqua internal resources.
  • Have a strong focus on patent knowledge and onboarding support to build client confidence.

 

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar industry and position.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property management and experience with Intellectual Property Solutions (Patents, Trademarks, Foreign Filings).
  • Experience in project management and process improvement/optimization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document, analyze, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with others inside and outside the organization.
  • Strategic vision and a client-centric approach.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while demonstrating high performance in productivity and quality
