MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Works directly with users to resolve complex technical issues while at same time providing excellent customer service skills.
Plays a role in the creation of new technical test and production environments and establishes appropriate standards and strategies for these environments.
Assists in release planning. Works with the development team to ensure that any new release takes place with minimal impact.
Uses a variety of tools and techniques to isolate, diagnose, and resolve application issues.
Collects, summarizes, and clearly articulates information on software-related issues to the development teams.
Manages application servers by monitoring the logs and statistics reports, updating the server software as appropriate.
Administers and monitors software integrations as required.
Interacts with the Service Desk, Network Operations Center, Cloud and Data Center engineers, and other staff to provide second and third level support for enterprise-wide applications as well as other applications within the enterprise.
Implements and puts into practice pro-active monitoring for better availability and performance.
Document systems, processes, and procedures. Updates runbooks as part of each implementation to any environment. Review runbooks quarterly for any missed changes or other needed updates.
Performs regular data security reviews.
Participates in application and system Disaster Recovery planning and exercises for Business Continuity.
Making recommendations of processes and technologies that will improve efficiency and effectiveness to the team.
Conducts quarterly user security reviews.
OTHER FUNCTIONS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
FORMAL KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, with 3+ years operations management or supervisory experience.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle practices such as continuous integration and delivery and Infrastructure as code.
Experience troubleshooting and/or developing applications built on common frameworks.
Good scripting skills in at least one common scripting language (Bash, Shell, Python, PowerShell, VBscript) preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ experience website support, financial application support, and other enterprise applications required.
Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting complete packaged software project implementations required.
Experience establishing and tuning environments required.
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with Infrastructure and computer networking, including but not limited to cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
Familiarity with Containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
Intermediate level of understanding of public and private cloud, virtualization, and storage.
Experience with relational databases.
Experience with common database technologies such as SQL Database/Server.
Boomi platform / integration administration experience preferred.

The starting rate is $88,000 to $110,000 annual. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
