The Lactation Network (TLN) is seeking a
part-time Designer II to support our creative team in crafting compelling visuals across social media, email, web, and more. In this role, you’ll collaborate with writers, designers, and marketers to bring our brand to life while sharpening your design skills. From social media graphics to digital ads, you’ll help shape TLN’s visual presence and contribute to our mission of ensuring every family gets the lactation support they deserve.

Breakdown of the Role
Design Execution (75%)
- Create high-quality visuals for social media, email campaigns, websites, paid ads, and marketing collateral.
- Support the Creative team by producing on-brand graphics, animations, and illustrations.
- Assist in developing creative concepts, translating ideas into compelling designs.
- Ensure brand consistency and quality across all deliverables.
Collaboration & Growth (25%)
- Work closely with members of the Creative and Marketing teams to refine your craft.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, offering fresh design ideas.
- Apply feedback to enhance designs and learn best practices.
- Stay current with design trends and emerging tools, applying them to keep our brand fresh and relevant.
What you'll do
- Design a variety of assets for social media, emails, websites, print, and digital ads.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables, upholding TLN’s brand standards.
- Develop motion graphics and animations to add depth and dynamism to our visual storytelling.
- Present your work and articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the evolution of TLN’s visual identity.
What we expect from you
- A degree in Graphic Design or a related field, with 2-4 years of experience.
- Strong grasp of social media platforms, a keen eye for emerging trends, and expertise in visual best practices for each channel.
- A portfolio showcasing work across platforms (social media, email, digital).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma. Experience with AfterEffects a plus.
- A strong understanding of design fundamentals: typography, layout, color theory, and composition.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging visuals.
- Ability to take feedback with humility and apply it constructively.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. In other words, excellent time management and organizational skills.
What We’d Also Love To See
- Experience with motion design, animation, and/or illustration. Video editing skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with healthcare and/or mission-driven brands.
- An understanding of UX best practices and how they inform design decisions.
- Passion for advancing women’s health and supporting families.

The salary range for this position is $65,000-$98,000.
