About The Role

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our remote, project-based team. As part of this role, you will work with our clients to deploy, configure, and optimize custom software solutions, focusing on ensuring compliance, security, and performance in modern DevSecOps environments. You will help lead migrations, enhance authentication systems, configure secure registries, and manage observability stacks, all while leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies.

What You Will Be Doing

• User Migration: Securely extract, map, and migrate user data, preserving security and privacy compliance standards.
• Reconfigure Workstations: Configure Hololab workstations and Digital Twin client laptops to point to on-prem Reflect Secure application.
• Enhanced Authentication Integration: Implement PKI authentication and integrate with Active Directory for RBAC.
• STIG Compliance: Implement STIG compliance using BigBang’s capabilities, identifying and remediating any gaps.
• Testing and Validation: Develop test cases, execute tests, and address any identified issues.
• Comprehensive Documentation: Deliver documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and user manuals.
• Docker & Kubernetes: Create and configure a local Docker registry, deploy applications using BigBang Helm charts, and manage inter-service communication on Kubernetes.
• Observability Configuration: Deploy and configure the EFK stack for observability with Elasticsearch, Fluent Bit, and Kibana.
  
  

What We Want To See:

• CAC Access Required: Must have a valid CAC card for authentication due to project security requirements.
• Proven experience in DevSecOps, platform engineering, and application modernization.
• Familiarity with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Keycloak.
• Strong understanding of authentication and security protocols (PKI, CAC, TLS, etc.).
• Experience in user migration and integration with Active Directory and RBAC.
• Knowledge of STIG compliance, BigBang, and VMware Tanzu.
• Ability to manage and optimize Docker registries and containerized applications.
• Strong documentation skills for technical processes and configurations.
