The opportunity

As a Cyber Security Advisory Consultant within our growing UK&I Advisory Practice, you will be an integral part of our client delivery teams, working alongside experienced advisors to support the delivery of cyber security strategies. This role provides a structured path to becoming a trusted cyber security advisor through hands-on experience and mentored development.


The candidate must be eligible to obtain a security clearance - SC level.


Location:

Remote working with flexibility for traveling to client sites as required


Role And Responsibilities

Business Focus – Promoting and Influencing Practice Growth

  • Support the delivery of billable customer engagements
  • Work alongside experienced team members to deliver solutions and services to clients
  • Assist in maintaining client relationships through excellent service delivery and identifying opportunities


Strategic Contribution – Supporting the Delivery of Value

  • Contribute to security assessments and strategy development
  • Assist with security architecture reviews and designs
  • Support regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Help develop security transformation roadmaps
  • Contribute to cloud security solutions
  • Support innovation and research activities


Customer Focus – Helping Create Client Value

  • Support the delivery of security improvements
  • Assist with security capability assessments
  • Contribute to technical documentation and deliverables
  • Help prepare client presentations and materials
  • Support workshop delivery and client meetings
  • Conduct research and analysis
  • Help prepare and organise client workshops (e.g., security strategy sessions, cloud security architecture reviews, risk assessment workshops, technology evaluation sessions)
  • Assist in developing client materials, including security assessment reports, technical architecture diagrams, implementation roadmaps, and project status updates
  • Support security assessments by gathering and analysing security documentation, reviewing technical configurations, documenting findings and recommendations, and supporting evidence collection
  • Conduct focused research on emerging security technologies, industry regulations, compliance requirements, security vendor capabilities, and best practice frameworks

  • SOC tool evaluation support

  • Metrics and reporting frameworks

Identity & Access

  • IAM architecture reviews
  • Privileged access solutions
  • Authentication technology assessment
  • Zero Trust implementation planning


Required Skills And Experience

  • Extensive experience within IT/security
  • Understanding of security principles, cloud platforms, network concepts, identity management, risk assessment, and security tools
  • Security certifications (or working toward): Security+, Cloud security certifications, SSCP
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
  • Well-organised and committed to developing customer service skills
  • Enthusiastic about working in a team environment while developing individual capabilities
