About The Role
Transcend is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Customer Success Manager to drive customer transformation within our strategic customer partnerships. As a trusted advisor for some of the world’s most innovative enterprise organizations, you’ll help them build and scale best-in-class privacy programs by guiding on industry best practices and influencing privacy strategies.
You will connect the dots between business objectives and actions, translating complex challenges into tangible success outcomes. You will leverage data-driven insights to drive adoption, engagement, and advocacy while collaborating cross-functionally to shape the future of Transcend’s product and customer experience.
This is an impactful, high-visibility role with the opportunity to define what Customer Success means at Transcend.
What You'll Do
Customer Strategy & Advocacy
- Own the post-implementation experience, helping customers embed Transcend into their data governance workflows and drive long-term success.
- Connect customer objectives to actionable strategies, ensuring alignment between privacy initiatives and business outcomes.
- Go beyond surface-level requests—you uncover the “why” behind customer needs and use sound judgment and data to drive solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding privacy, legal, security, and compliance teams through industry best practices and maturity curve progression.
Driving Retention, Expansion & Measurable Outcomes
- Drive value realization and customer expansion, proactively identifying growth opportunities and influencing decision-making at the executive level.
- Use data and insights to measure and prove ROI, ensuring customers see tangible value from Transcend.
- Protect and grow your portfolio of enterprise customers, consistently exceeding retention and expansion targets.
- Influence customer adoption and engagement behaviors, ensuring long-term success and advocacy.
Strategic Communication & Relationship Management
- Actively listen and read between the lines, picking up on non-verbal cues, business priorities, and shifting customer expectations.
- Tailor communication to each audience, whether presenting to C-level executives or working with technical teams.
- Host and lead Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs), ensuring customers are aligned on success criteria and long-term objectives.
Who You Are
- You bring 5+ years of enterprise customer success experience, supporting business transformation and driving customer outcomes for F500 customers. You have a proven track record of consistently exceeding NDR goals in large enterprise and strategic partnerships.
- Proven success in driving adoption, influencing customer behavior, and protecting renewals in a complex, high-touch software environment. SaaS experience required.
- Strong business acumen, communication and storytelling abilities to strategically advise F500 executive stakeholders (e.g., CLOs, CISOs, CMOs, CTOs, CFOs) through their privacy and data governance maturity journey.
- Data-driven, with a deep understanding of customer health metrics, software ROI measurement, and bottom-line impact tracking.
- Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with a willingness to “wear multiple hats” and embrace the necessary ambiguity to meet the dynamic needs of our business and customers.
- Passionate about privacy, security, and making a lasting impact in the industry.
Bonus Points
- Experience in data privacy, GRC, cybersecurity, or regulatory compliance and thorough understanding of data privacy regulations and frameworks (e.g. GDPR, CPRA).
- Expertise in privacy automation, data mapping, or risk assessment technologies.

total salary ranges are below. The actual annual salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
The listed range below is a guideline, and the annual

The Pay Range For This Role Is
137,000 - 164,000 USD per year(United States)
