As an Associate Customer Development Manager for the Independent Outlet (IO) business in Singapore, you will be responsible for developing the contact lens business with Key Customers (Territory Independent Outlets, Local Key Accounts) and promoting the CooperVision range of contact lenses. This role will be expected to put in place business plans to meet sales targets and budget and to work closely with all CooperVision departments to support and build the business growth.
Responsibilities
Add to the profitability of the business through maintaining costs within budget.
Build strong alignment and partnership with assigned accounts to develop the business and grow market shares.
Target profit leaks and remedy immediately.
Calling as representative to optometrists practices within your assigned territory.
Build and develop new business.
Participate in the setting up and review of budgets.
Design and implement a strategy to enhance the bottom line of the business.
Develop strategies to influence optometrists in prescribing base in lenses.
Ensure high standards of customer relationships.
Maintain the professional image of the company.
Build relationships with decision makers.
Represent the company at industry trade events.
Provide market information and insights of the market dynamics and competitors’ in-market activities through day to day in market interactions with the eye care practitioners.
Involvement in cross-functional projects.
Follow internal compliance policy and values in day-to-day execution.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good knowledge of the geography of your assigned sales area.
Intermediate skill in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM and Business Intelligence software.
Ability to read and understand highly technical material.
Strong numeracy skills .
Excellent communication and presentation skill in both English and Chinese
Work Environment:
Normal office environment
Travels extensively to customer accounts
Occasionally travel for sales workshop and conferences
Experience:
At least above 5 years of sales experience is preferred (less experience may be considered) with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Vision Care/Contact Lens industry.
Sales experience from a business-to-business sales background.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or above.
