We are seeking a skilled and proactive Security Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing security solutions that protect critical systems and data. The ideal candidate will have experience with one or more advanced security technologies, such as Thales, Nexus, or Akamai, and a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.

Your Responsibilities

Security Design and Implementation:

Develop and implement robust security architectures for enterprise systems andapplications.
Configure and manage solutions like Thales, Nexus, or Akamai to meet securityobjectives.

Threat Monitoring and Response:

Continuously monitor systems for vulnerabilities and threats.
Implement appropriate countermeasures to mitigate risks and respond toincidents.

Policy and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001,GDPR, NIST).
Assist in developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and bestpractices.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, DevOps, anddevelopment teams, to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
Provide expert advice on security aspects of new technologies and solutions.Performance Optimization:
Regularly assess and optimize security systems to maintain high performanceand efficiency.
Conduct system audits and penetration testing to identify and rectifyweaknesses.

Our Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience with security solutions such as Thales, Nexus, or Akamai.
Solid understanding of encryption, identity management, and network security concepts.
Hands-on experience with tools for monitoring, logging, and threat detection.
Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar).
Familiarity with cloud security solutions and architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Preferred qualifications:Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Thales, Akamai).
Experience with Zero Trust frameworks and security methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
