Job description

Job Description:

We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our talented professional services team.  The successful candidate will work with customers as a member of our engagement team to support the Project Management needs of a federal client focused on various special IT-related projects and initiatives. The candidate will be helping with overall coordination and project management, stakeholders and communications management, vendor management as well as assisting with several strategic initiatives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Managing assigned task, activities, or portions of a project. Plans, coordinates, and manages all aspects of small to medium information technology projects
  • Creating a plan, setting goals and milestones, communicating timelines and progress updates to all stakeholders
  • Preparing and presenting status on project schedule, project deliverables, project risks, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Provides management support to team members and client staff
  • Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder’s needs and requirements continuously in view
  • Maintain project schedule updates
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for management use
  • Defining and researching new ideas and engineering opportunities
  • Providing decision support through data gathering, information analysis and presenting considerations to relevant stakeholders
  • Communicating and enforcing IT Engineering process and priorities across multiple teams
  • Creating IT Engineering artifacts including dashboards, reports, KPIs, SOPs, best practices
  • Analyzing IT Engineering processes and procedures to help develop project optimization strategies
Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in related technical discipline, and four (4) years of Project Management experience
  • Certified Project Management Professional (preferred)
  • Agile/Scrum related certifications (preferred)
  • Certified System Administrator (preferred)
  • ServiceNow training or CIS Certification (preferred)
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Certification (preferred)
  • Must be eligible to meet government eligibility requirements.

  • Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
