We are seeking a talented Senior Legal Counsel for Spain to lead our Spanish Legal Team, providing comprehensive legal advice to the N26 group and the Spanish branch on all legal aspects of N26's business in Spain, from regulatory and banking regulations to customer protection and banking operations. Working alongside the Spanish Team based in Madrid and our Legal Team located across various jurisdictions, you will collaborate closely with the General Counsel for N26 and the senior management of the N26 to develop pragmatic solutions aimed at expanding N26's business in Spain while ensuring compliance with EU and Spanish regulations.

  • Handle a variety of legal matters, serving as a legal partner to the Product, Business, and Marketing teams to support the launch of new products in Spain and ensure the compliance of N26's operations in Spain. Your responsibilities will include assisting with new product and feature launches, preparing internal assessments, and reviewing and drafting terms and conditions, contracts, and internal policies.

  • You have already gained successful management experience in a reputable law firm or legal department.
  • Ideally, you have graduated and/or have acquired work experience in banking law, banking supervisory law, or financial law.
  • You are a fluent Spanish and English speaker; you possess outstanding writing skills in both Spanish and English.
  • You are hands-on and eager to tackle new topics, demonstrating a quick grasp and experience in conceptual project work.
  • You will be an ideal addition to the team, bringing very good interpersonal skills, pragmatic thinking, and a zest for action.
  • You are a team player and can work with a high degree of autonomy.
What’s in it for you:
  • Accelerate your career growth by joining one of Europe’s most talked about disruptors 🚀.
