Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Business Development Representative (BDR) to spearhead our outbound sales efforts. This is a pure cold outreach role, targeting decision-makers in architecture and engineering firms. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for sales, prospecting, and business growth—this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect & Generate Leads: Conduct 100% cold outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to identify and qualify potential clients in the architecture and engineering industry.
Build and Maintain a Pipeline: Research and engage key decision-makers, including principals, project managers, and technology directors at architecture and engineering firms.
Engage in High-Volume Outreach: Achieve and exceed daily/weekly/monthly KPIs, including calls, emails, and meetings set.
Educate & Qualify Prospects: Communicate our value proposition, ask strategic questions, and uncover pain points to determine fit.
Schedule Sales Meetings: Secure and coordinate discovery/demo meetings for Account Executives or Sales Leaders.
Utilize CRM & Sales Tools: Accurately log activities, track prospecting efforts, and optimize outreach through CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Teams: Provide feedback on outreach effectiveness, contribute to sales strategies, and refine messaging based on market response.
Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Develop a strong understanding of architecture and engineering industry challenges and emerging technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree graduate in Business Management or a related field.
More than 3 years of outbound sales, cold calling, or business development experience (preferably in B2B SaaS, technology, or professional services).
Strong ability to handle rejection and thrive in a high-volume, results-driven environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive and engaging approach.
Ability to research and personalize outreach efforts to improve conversion rates.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement platforms (HubSpot, ZoomInfo).
Self-motivated, highly disciplined, and eager to develop professionally in sales.
Experience selling into architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) is a plus but not required.
