About the Role
As a Sr. UX Designer, you will work closely with product and engineering teams to uncover user and business needs, translating them into delightful and intuitive user-centered design solutions. This role will be working on our internal-facing product supporting all team members at Second Nature with data management, surfacing high priority tasks and helping to improve workflow efficiencies using AI. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, an eye for detail and is driven to make a large impact at a fast growing startup.
Opportunities
- Improve RBP service fulfillment rates by identifying precise failure points & introducing solutions to mitigate.
- Increase error-free completion for key workflows.
- Reduce average task completion times by 20% within 6 months of implementing design changes.
- Improve System Usability Scale (SUS) scores for internal tools by at least 15% after redesigns.
- Increase CSAT scores by analyzing CSAT survey data and partnering with customer service teams, continuously improving UX to deliver measurable impact.
Key Competencies
UX/UI Principle
- Craft quick mid-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to drive conversations with stakeholders on continuous UX enhancements.
- Create high fidelity user flows, wireframes, UI mockups and prototypes.
- Create proof of concepts to envision how people will experience features and products.
- Build and maintain consistent design standards across products.
- Ensure the user interface design aligns with the overall brand guidelines and provides a cohesive user experience.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and stakeholder input.
User Research/Feedback
- Conduct user research, interviews and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Attend PMC industry conferences to learn more about property managers, investors and residents.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with senior stakeholders in product, engineering and business to navigate ambiguity and help shape product strategy.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and according to specifications.
About You
- 4+ years experience in product design or UX
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools like Figma
- Experience designing in an agile development environment
- Working experience in the application of Conversational AI
- Comfortable utilizing AI
- Understanding and advocating for accessibility in design
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing
- Strong user empathy, with a passion for how your designs will impact them
- A problem solver who is hungry to learn and grow outside of your comfort zone
- Don’t hold your biases too closely and understand when to compromise
- Ability to effectively present and justify design decisions
Bonus Qualifications
- Knowledge of coding, with basic understanding of how your design decisions may affect engineering
- Proptech or property management experience
