QA Test Analyst
Location: Remote (Possible Hybrid in Olympia, Washington)
Salary: $120-150k

Sabot Consulting is seeking a highly skilled QA Test Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing and business analysis within large organizations, particularly in the technical implementation of software/systems/applications automating complex business processes using Sagitec Neospin. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.

Responsibilities:

Assess the scope and tasks of analysis.
Plan business analysis tasks.
Elicit, define, and document various business, user, and system requirements.
Lead and work within cross-functional teams, including business subject matter experts, application architects, developers, and testers.
Prepare test plans, test cases, and document test results.
Produce business analysis and testing deliverables such as business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, stakeholder requests, test strategies, test plans, test cases, transition plans, and traceability matrices.
Use Test Application Lifecycle Management tools such as HP ALM, Rational Requisite Pro, or Jama to document functional and non-functional requirements, design specifications, test cases, and defects, and provide full traceability for projects.

Must Have:

At least seven (7) years of experience within the last ten (10) years working as a Test Analyst with large organizations.
Experience producing business analysis & testing deliverables, gathering business requirements and functional specifications.
Experience building complex test plans, test cases, and documentation of test results.
Experience with regression testing, and adjusting test plans for periodic maintenance releases.
At least seven (7) years of experience within the last ten (10) years producing business analysis and testing deliverables.
At least three (3) years of experience using Test Application Lifecycle Management tools such as Jama, HP ALM, or Rational Requisite Pro for requirements documentation and design specifications.

Nice to Have:

Experience as a Test Analyst at a State or Federal agency.
Experience leading or participating in the technical implementation of pension/retirement-related software development projects such as Sagitec Neospin.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related fields from an accredited college/university.
Knowledge of State or Federal Pension systems.
