Alliance Director
We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented professional with a strong ability to network, build relationships, and solve complex challenges to join our team as the Dell Alliance Director. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering and maintaining high-value relationships with key Dell stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company’s overarching objectives, strategies, and growth initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing business opportunities, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving revenue growth through collaboration and strategic execution.
Essential Outcomes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between the UDT Team and relevant Dell teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing operations and business development opportunities between UDT and Dell, facilitating coordination and communication.
- Ensure the successful execution of sales, delivery, and operational strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee project progress, profitability, and alignment with strategic objectives, ensuring high performance and client satisfaction.
- Drive revenue growth through proactive business development, optimizing existing opportunities, and advancing deals through the sales cycle.
- Establish a structured process for monitoring, tracking, and reporting performance metrics, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Own and nurture relationships with applicable Dell teams, acting as the primary liaison for all engagements.
- Represent UDT at Dell Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs), engaging with key decision-makers and executives.
- Maintain a holistic, 360-degree view of the account, understanding client needs, ongoing projects, and potential challenges.
- Conduct weekly status calls to provide updates, address issues, and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
- Sales & Business Growth
- Collaborate with Dell sales, delivery, and operations teams to ensure strategic alignment and optimize performance.
- Set measurable goals and develop strategic plans for revenue growth.
- Identify and analyze new business opportunities through market research and strategic assessments.
- Optimize existing opportunities to enhance performance, increase sales, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Actively manage and push deals through the sales cycle, ensuring timely execution and addressing any roadblocks.
- Demonstrate expert-level understanding of UDT’s Lifecycle Services capabilities.
- Develop, execute, and track growth strategies to ensure achievement of business objectives via a formal Dell Alliance Plan.
- Operational & Project Oversight
- Ensure that projects are progressing according to plan, meeting deadlines, and contributing to UDT’s profitability.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance, ensuring projects remain profitable and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Regularly assess Dell’s satisfaction with UDT’s delivery and address any concerns to strengthen partnerships.
- Process Optimization & Accountability
- Serve as a single point of contact to streamline communication, reduce confusion, and enhance efficiency.
- Foster accountability by ensuring all parties remain aligned on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Drive problem resolution by coordinating resources and responses effectively to address challenges promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in account management, stakeholder engagement, and business development.
- Strong understanding of sales, delivery, and operational functions within a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and identify business growth opportunities.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Experience in handling executive-level engagements and managing high-value accounts.
- Ability to lead presales engagements and drive deals through the sales cycle effectively.
- High level of accountability and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient execution.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and strategically.
