As Communications Manager at ProVeg Polska, you will lead our public relations and social media efforts, ensuring our message reaches and resonates with diverse audiences. You will craft compelling narratives, build media relationships, and develop strategic campaigns that amplify our mission of a sustainable, plant-based future.

Reports to: Country Director, ProVeg Polska
Location: Remote in Poland (preferably Warsaw)
Hours: full-time (40h/week)
Responsibilities
Strategic Communications & PR
  • Develop and implement a results-driven communication strategy that aligns with ProVeg’s mission
  • Craft compelling narratives and key messaging for external audiences
  • Monitor and analyse the Polish media landscape, identifying trends and opportunities
  • Build and nurture relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers in food, business, policy, and lifestyle sectors
  • Draft and distribute press releases, thought leadership pieces, and media statements
  • Manage crisis communication strategies with support from the global team
Social Media & Digital Marketing
  • Lead ProVeg Polska’s presence on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn)
  • Plan, create, and oversee engaging content that increases visibility and engagement
  • Develop and execute both paid and organic campaigns to drive audience growth
  • Track and analyze key metrics (followers, engagement, website traffic) to optimize strategy
  • Collaborate with international teams to align messaging and share best practices
Content Development & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Create persuasive and informative content tailored for different communication channels
  • Develop materials for key stakeholders, including executive presentations and speeches
  • Support business partners with communication strategies and marketing initiatives
  • Lead training sessions and workshops to enhance media and communication efforts
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in public relations, media relations, social media, or digital marketing, with a proven track record in audience growth and engagement
  • Education: Relevant Degree or equivalent qualification/accreditation (public relations, media relations, social media)
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in Polish (native level) and English (fluent)
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop impactful communication strategies and execute them effectively
  • Digital & Media Expertise: Familiarity with social media platforms, content creation tools (Canva), and analytics (SEO, Google Analytics, AdWords)
  • Relationship Builder: Strong network in media and influencer circles, with the ability to cultivate partnerships
  • Creative & Proactive: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings innovative ideas to the table
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using project management tools (Asana, Wrike) and digital marketing platforms
  • Passionate: Alignment with ProVeg’s mission to create a more sustainable and compassionate food system
