Job Location: Remote (Must be located within the Continental US)

Note: Candidate may be required to travel to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) headquarters as needed for critical project phases. No travel expenses will be provided.


Job Description

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) is seeking a SAP S/4HANA BRIM Functional SME to support the Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) implementation as part of the UBOS solution. The System Integrator (SI) will perform the implementation, but PTC requires an SME to ensure that the BRIM application aligns with business needs and integrates seamlessly with SAP S/4HANA Finance and other technologies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP BRIM implementations, preferably for tolling back-office systems or large-scale call centers. This role will involve acting as PTC’s subject matter expert, coordinating with stakeholders, reviewing SI documentation, performing testing, and ensuring the solution meets PTC’s requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze PTC’s current billing and revenue structure and desired UBOS functionality.
  • Work with the System Integrator (SI) to ensure SAP BRIM implementation meets PTC’s business needs.
  • Serve as PTC’s SAP BRIM subject matter expert in meetings and workshops.
  • Identify potential issues and provide detailed recommendations to PTC leadership.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation following PTC standards and templates.
  • Perform hands-on testing and provide feedback on solution deliverables.
  • Lead and participate in project meetings related to billing and revenue workstreams.
  • Review SI’s documentation and advise on acceptance criteria.
  • Assist in conducting lessons learned sessions to improve processes.
  • Provide daily support and direction to the IT UBOS team.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to define priorities and schedules.

Minimum Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of SAP BRIM functional support experience.
  • 1+ successful SAP BRIM implementation in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Information Systems (or equivalent combination of education and experience).



Engagement Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in the Continental United States (No offshore resources allowed).
  • Remote Work: Largely remote but must be willing to travel to PTC headquarters as needed.
  • Travel: Required for critical project phases (Requirements Gathering, Solution Confirmation, System Integration Testing, UAT, Go-Live, and Hyper Care). No travel reimbursement provided.
