Required Location: Atlanta, GA (This position is Remote with some in-office meetings at the Atlanta, GA office)

The Contract Manager is responsible for structuring and/or administrating contractual documents relating to maintenance and support obligations as well as bundle and stand-alone product agreements. The individual in this position works with Finance, Sales, Order Fulfillment, and other members of the Contract Management /Legal Affairs team in negotiating, structuring, and/or administrating contractual documents for purchase and customer support agreements. The Contract Manager is also responsible for analyzing the provisions in contractual documents between the company and its customers to ensure compliance with company policy and other applicable requirements.

The successful Contract Manager will develop an understanding of Elekta’s products and technologies, as well as Elekta’s internal policies, in order to ensure that Elekta contracts are completed in a timely manner and conform to all required parameters. 

The Contract Manager will build quality, one-to-one relationships with their customers –Healthcare Sales Directors, HealthCare Account Directors, Regional Service Managers, Zone VP, Managers of National and Strategic Accounts, Legal, Finance and Order Fulfillment– in order to better meet the needs of the individual, while maintaining adherence to internal Elekta policies and procedures.

The Contract Manager will support commercial goods and service contract-related activities.  Additional activities may include correspondence, communications, customer records, and distributions of contract related materials.

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Applies his/her full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures to resolve a wide range of issues in creative as well as practical ways and exercises good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Normally receives little to no instruction on day-to-day work and general to little instruction on new projects or assignments. Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, process and review purchase and customer support agreements within assigned zone to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Create amendment documents to authorize changes to standards and coordinate the approval of any standard changes as per Elekta policies
  • Develop options and alternatives for proposals with the Sales and Service teams via CLM/Quotation System(s) to ensure compliance with company policies and practices.
  • Develop an intermediate level of understanding of the offered products and uses and be able to discuss alternative service options with Sales and Service.
  • Maintain customer files and records as related to Sales activities.
  • Utilize information related to contracts to establish new contracts in CLM, ERP, and other business systems as applicable.
  • Where appropriate, negotiate or escalate requested variations to policies related to pricing, terms, and offer structure to senior staff for all types of contracts.
  • Identify, review, and act on site specific data (such as buyer identity, contingencies, extra-contractual company obligations) for prospective orders.
  • Maintain KPIs (including set turnaround time for various tasks) for assigned zone.
  • Gather and process customer order data for management review and approval.
  • Incorporate Elekta’s Values into all department functions and responsibilities.
  • Understand order goals for the current fiscal year by month, quarter and year
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications -

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Employees must be able to read, speak, write and comprehend the English language.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, and/or Management is preferred (can be substituted for 5 years of experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to focus on the needs of internal and external customers.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple high priority tasks simultaneously.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Understanding of basic Finance and Accounting concepts and terminology.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment tests such as language use, mathematics, typing proficiency as required.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish speakers encouraged to apply.

The hourly rate for the Atlanta, GA region is $33-36/hr.
