ROLE:

Alteryx is looking for a Senior / Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team and provide strategic financial support for Chief Revenue Officer, including Customer Success, Sales Engineering and the Sales Ops teams. This role will play a key part in supporting our business leaders and stakeholders to enable data-driven solutions and operational excellence. A self-starter with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to use modern technologies to drive efficiencies in processes and reporting and have eagerness to take on new challenges and develop new skills will be important for the success of this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Business Support: Serving as a mini-CFO to leadership by providing analytical and strategics insights to influence strategic decisions and optimize business outcomes and priorities.
  • Efficiency Metrics Analysis: Assess and streamline operational efficiency metrics across business by evaluating multiple data sets and sources, developing analyses and reporting to make an impact on decision making and support leadership in business initiatives.
  • Business Performance Analysis: Evaluate KPIs and metrics such as customer retention, renewal rates, cost reductions, resource optimization, cost of service delivery, and utilization.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with various teams and departments on key initiatives, proactively optimize and improve processes, and to streamline and consolidate Go-To-Market reporting.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Manage expenses, headcount, forecasts and budgeting process with business leadership that result in increased forecast accuracy, rigor and scalability. Effectively present key financial results and outlook to leadership by highlighting critical trends, assessing current and future business risks, and providing clear data-driven insights.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A or business support roles working with large datasets, consolidating, analyzing and creating data-driven models

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field
  • Experience in supporting major functional areas within an organization, with experience in financial analysis, headcount/resource management and business metric reporting
  • Proficiency with tools like Salesforce, Tableau, Snowflake and Excel; working knowledge of Alteryx or SQL a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to summarize detailed information in a concise manner and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong sense of intellectual curiosity, great attitude, and passion for building strong relationships
  • Motivated self-starter, with ability to work with minimal direction and to set effective project plans

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. 

The salary range for this role in the United States is $120,000 - $140,000.

In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
