The following position is to join our Corporate RTX Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) team:

Role Overview:

Design, develop, and implement automated systems and processes to streamline operations, improve efficiency, reduce the introduction of errors and reduce manual intervention.

The role requires the creation of automated software applications that perform specific tasks, often collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and ensure successful implementation. 

What You Will Do:

  • Analyze existing processes to identify areas where automation can improve efficiency and productivity. 
  • Develop detailed plans for automated systems considering system requirements and constraints. 
  • Write programming code to control automated systems, utilizing relevant programming languages depending on the application (e.g., Python)
  • Conduct thorough testing of automated systems to identify and resolve issues, ensuring functionality and reliability.
  • Install and configure automated systems in production environments, coordinating with relevant teams. 
  • Monitor automated systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary updates and maintenance. 
  • Create documentation for automated systems as needed, including design specifications and change management documentation. 
  • Work closely with other engineers, technicians, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals. Partner with internal Teams, Vendors and any necessary resources to architect solutions.
  •  Create reporting as needed to track progress and show savings.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • 7 years minimum Project Management experience
  • Ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs, or systems
  • U.S. Citizen Required
  • Location: REMOTE

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Proficient in languages like Python for automation.
  • Write clean, efficient code using relevant libraries and frameworks.
  • Debug and optimize code for performance.
  • Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop solutions.
  • Break down issues into manageable components.
  • Quickly adapt to new platforms and technologies (e.g., Tanium, WIZ, ServiceNow).
  • Familiar with automation technologies, hardware, and software tools.
  • Understand principles of automation and their application.
  • Knowledge of tools like RTX infrastructure, ServiceNow, Tanium, and Cyware CSOL.
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Write detailed documentation (design specs, change management).
  • Collaborate effectively with leadership, teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
