How You'll Make Your Mark

  •  Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the Canadian federal government and Ottawa Regional Enterprises, with a focus on long-term strategic growth. Build and execute a sales strategy that positions our solutions to meet the unique needs of government agencies.

  • Collaborate with Lobbyist to offering insights into how our products and services can improve government operations and help achieve their objectives.

  • You have strong lobbyist experience and a well-established network within government, regulatory bodies, and industry associations. You’re comfortable working to influence policy decisions to align with business objectives.

  • Navigate Government Procurement: Lead the effort to navigate the federal government procurement process. Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage bid submissions, ensuring compliance with government regulations and standards.

Sales Competencies

  • Collaborates across the HPE teams to deliver a consistent approach to developing business, including account planning for end to end solutions

  • Negotiates profitable deals so that the company can expand opportunities based on the existing business, and increase the company's footprint and revenue in storage.

  • Drives sales of the Storage portfolio, using strong leadership and initiative to successfully prospect, negotiate and close deals.

  • Focuses on and works with the channel to forge relationships, provide enablement of key technologies, and co-sell to end-users.

  • Effectively leads, evangelizes, and helps to coordinate Storage marketing campaigns (digital/new techniques) to ensure successful launches and maintenance of campaign momentum, in alignment with the account strategy.

  • Acts as a trusted storage solutions consultant for the slated accounts/region.

  • Oversee key accounts within the Canadian federal government, ensuring that client needs are met, and expectations are exceeded. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that drive customer success.

  • Contributes to proposal development, negotiations and deal closing.

  • Directs and coordinates supporting sales activities related to pipeline hygiene through Presales, channel partners and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Reinforces and articulates HPE's strategy and portfolio to partners and champions to uncover new business opportunities and contacts, including new logos when appropriate.

About You

  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, interface with diverse business customers.

  • 8+ years of relevant Government Business Development sales experience.

  • Storage related sales experience strongly desired.

  • File solutions experience preferred.

CAD Annual Salary: $216,500.00 - $433,500.00
