The DubClub founding team played football and baseball together at Stanford, then remained friends after college. Like many sports bettors and sports fans, we triumphed together. But we also lost together. Through it all, we did our best to utilize the timely information shared by countless sports content creators to better inform our bets. Input from these sports content creators was useful, but the methods to receive their timely content containing betting advice were unreliable. We found ourselves refreshing websites, sifting through timelines, and jumping in and out of Discord servers.
When we paid these sports content creators for their advice, a great dynamic ensued. They made money from our payment for their content, and we lost money less frequently. Thus, DubClub was born to serve sports content creators that are serious about making a lot of money from their sports betting content. Our product is the business operating system for sports content creator CEOs (our “partners”) to easily inform more consumers and achieve financial freedom.

You will be a critical member of the New Partnerships team working in service of DubClub’s Go To Market strategy (”GTM”). DubClub’s Go to Market strategy is simple: Grow DubClub Partners Gross Merchandise Value (“GMV”)!
In the pursuit of growing GMV, the New Partnerships team is responsible for acquiring high-quality sports content creators to be CEOs on DubClub. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for executing the “OWL” triad: outreach, win, and launch the next crop of great DubClub Partner CEOs!
You will own the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting through close and launch. You must have a “systems mindset” and a hunger for closing deals — whatever it takes.
Acquiring great new Partners drives momentum for the entire Company. The importance of this role cannot be understated.
You are being hired to acquire high-quality sports content creators to be CEOs on DubClub. Within 90 days of being hired, you will be expected to be acquiring $60K+ of monthly GMV to the platform every month.
Outreach: you will proactively identify, qualify, and reach out to sports content creators to be CEOs on DubClub. 99% of your outreach will occur via social media direct messaging channels (X, Instagram, TikTok). You’re calling on very busy “solopreneurs” and digital creators. You need to be provocative, punchy, and “pattern interrupt” prospects with your outreach messaging.
Win: you will efficiently discover where DubClub can add value to a sports content creator CEO’s business. You will be consultative with your prospects and build within them the confidence they need to start a partnership with DubClub. You will earn their partnership by adding value to them and helping them understand how much more money they could be making with DubClub.
Launch: you will work closely with your prospects to ensure that they are equipped for a successful “launch” of their DubClub business. You will give them the guidance and resources they need to crush the beginning of their DubClub journey.
Exceptional intelligence and competence: You will be a change agent in a highly dynamic market. You need real intellectual horsepower to stay on top of trends in the world of sports betting content creation, the DubClub product experience, and the industry at large.
Demonstrated excellence in high velocity outbound sales environments: You have the organizational and process mindset that is required to win in a high-velocity “inside sales” role. You are detail-oriented, you have successfully prosecuted aggressive sales funnels, and you are a routine “quota beater”.
Understanding of how to win in the creator economy: You will add value to new prospective DubClub partners because you understand the creator economy and content strategy + social media funnels. You also demonstrate the “always on” mentality that’s required to drive exceptional value for DubClub’s partners.
Location & Compensation
This role is based at the DubClub HQ in Chicago, IL (The Loop). We currently have a hybrid model where we ask the team to come in the office 2-3x/week.
$170,000 total compensation (based on experience) + stock options. Please note that this range can be flexible for the right candidate.
We’re open to considering candidates outside of Chicago, but the first six months will need to be in-person in Chicago. If the hire exceeds expectations, they’ll have the flexibility to work from anywhere they choose. DubClub also provides a relocation stipend to assist with temporary relocation expenses.
