What's it all about?

Are you a passionate English teacher looking for a flexible, rewarding opportunity to tutor GCSE students remotely? We are seeking an educator with QTS to deliver engaging online tutoring sessions to UK-based students from the comfort of your home.

This role involves delivering online (remote) English tutoring sessions to pupils who wouldn’t ordinarily afford tutoring, ensuring high-quality education for GCSE students. Teaching will be conducted remotely from within the UK, with resources available so you can focus on adapting content to engage students in effective lesson delivery. You will also receive training on how to use the technology, ensuring a smooth and interactive learning experience for both you and your students.

Contract details

£35 per hour | 3-5 hours per week to start | 3-Month Contract | Regulated Role

Hours of Work

We’re looking for candidates available to deliver tutorials during the working school day (8am-3pm) and also after the school day (4-7pm).

Monday - after 4pm (1 hr)

Tuesday - between 10.30-12.30 (1-2 hrs)

Wednesday - between 10.30  12.30 (1-2 hrs)

Thursday - after 4pm (1 hr)

Ideally you will be able to start in this role from Monday 24th February, 2025.

Requirements

Who will you be?

As the ideal candidate, you will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching GCSE English Language and Literature in UK schools. You’ll have a strong understanding of the GCSE specification. You should be tech-literate, confident in delivering lessons online, and available during the specified lesson times. The role provides full training to support your transition into virtual teaching.
