Are you a Houdini FX pro with a passion for crafting jaw-dropping visual effects? We’re looking for an experienced Houdini FX Artist to bring high-quality, dynamic effects to life across feature films and high-end TV. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and love turning creative vision into reality, we want to hear from you! Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Create high-quality FX elements (fire, smoke, explosions, fluid simulations, rigid body dynamics).
Integrate FX elements with lighting, shadows, and reflections for a polished final look.
Manage time effectively and produce high-quality work under pressure.
Work within established pipelines while contributing creative and technical solutions.
Troubleshoot FX challenges with support from Senior and Lead artists when needed.
Optimize assets to hit deadlines while maintaining top-tier visuals.
Track progress, meet deadlines, and keep your Lead and Coordinator in the loop.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Either a Bachelor’s Degree in 3D Animation or VFX or equivalent hands-on experience—we value talent and skill!
2+ years in a VFX or Animation studio with a strong foundation in Houdini, Maya, Redshift, and Karma.
Quick to learn new tools like USD, Solaris, and Unreal (if you don’t master them already), with a knack for balancing creativity and technical needs.
Works seamlessly with artists across departments, integrating FX into the bigger picture.
Tackle challenges head-on, communicate clearly, and turn feedback into awesome results!
You take initiative, own your tasks, and keep things moving without needing a nudge.
Always looking for new techniques, sharing knowledge, and pushing creative boundaries.
