Position Overview

RecruitGo is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for processing payments, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and maintaining accurate records in Xero. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process payment requests, ensuring invoices and approvals are properly matched.
• Verify the completeness and accuracy of supplier information and supporting documents.
• Maintain and update the supplier master file and create vendor contacts in Xero.
• Accurately record and process bills and payments in Xero on time.
• Upload and endorse online payments for authorization.
• Prepare and distribute remittance reports, including Form 2307 (for PH) when required.
• Ensure official receipts or supplier invoices (SI for PH) are collected for each payment.
• Organize and archive digital and physical records (for PH), ensuring data backup.
• Extract and upload invoices for recurring expenses and subscriptions.
• Prepare and monitor aging reports for accounts payable.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks related to payables and data management as assigned.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).

• Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
• Work Set up: Hybrid (3-4 days per week) May work from home, subject to the approval of the immediate supervisor. Office located in 10th Flr. Cyberone Building, Eastwood Ave., Quezon City
