We invite a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join the VeliPlay product team.

Housed within the innovative umbrella of VeliTech, VeliPlay is our dedicated game development studio specializing in crafting exceptional crash games and more. We’re committed to delivering cutting-edge games that engage players with outstanding mechanics and envelop them in rich, immersive narratives.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications
• Utilize TestRail for web application testing and Postman for API testing
• Perform various testing methodologies, including API, UI, functional, non-functional, smoke, regression, end-to-end (e2e), system, usability, and sanity testing
• Collaborate with the development team, product owners, and project managers to ensure thorough testing and validation of software features
• Identify, analyze, and document defects, inconsistencies, and errors found during testing
• Track and report testing progress and test results using appropriate tools and communication channels
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA function
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, industry best practices, and emerging trends in software testing
• Develop strategies to improve the production process.
• Make sure that all the standards are met and review thoroughly the existing policies and standards
• Documentation of internal audits and quality assurance activities
• Take a look at customer complaints
• Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle by coordinating with development teams and other stakeholders
• Participation in internal meetings (sprint plannings, groomings, daily stand-ups, etc), external demos, and meetings with stakeholders, customers, and partners
• Assistance in troubleshooting production issues
• Generation of great ideas and improvements for our products (this is always welcomed in our team)

Skills and experience you will need:

• At least 5 years of commercial experience
• Proven experience in manual software testing, including API, UI, functional, non-functional, smoke, regression, end-to-end (e2e), system, usability, and sanity testing
• Experience with testing tools such as TestRail and Postman
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies in software applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Familiarity with web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is a plus
   

Will be a plus:

• Working experience in a game-related field will be a very big advantage
• Strong knowledge of QA theory and practices
• Experience with databases (SQL, MongoDB)
• Focus on teamwork
• Good English skills, upper intermediate or higher
• Experience testing REST APIs.
• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
• Experience in manual testing of complex browser-based applications.
• Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles as organizational demands.
• Advanced skills in requirements analysis.
• Ability to prioritize test cases based on risk analysis.
