Platform Implementation Specialist - MangoApps

BridgePhase is seeking a MangoApps Platform Implementation Specialist to join our team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to implement, configure and optimize the MangoApps platform to meet diverse requirements around information management, sharing and collaboration, while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and security protocols. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to translate existing functional and technical requirements and capabilities into the MangoApps platform in an optimized fashion. This is a remote position.

In this position, you can expect to:  

• Architect and lead complex MangoApps implementations, focusing on enterprise-scale solutions and multi-site deployments
• Design and implement custom workspaces, knowledge bases, and collaboration environments
• Lead integration efforts with enterprise systems including collaboration and authentication services
• Collaborate on the development of custom widgets and extensions using MangoApps APIs and development frameworks
• Provide technical oversight for performance optimization, security hardening, and scalability improvements
• Mentor junior implementation specialists and provide technical leadership to project teams
• Conduct technical discovery workshops and architect solutions based on client requirements
• Lead proof-of-concept development for complex technical solutions
• Review and optimize existing MangoApps implementations for performance and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address program-specific platform needs

As with any technical environment, the exact role responsibilities will evolve with the changing needs of our client. We are looking for versatile candidates who thrive on new challenges and can readily adapt to additional responsibilities beyond those listed above. 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications: 

• At least 6 years of total professional experience with 3-5 years of experience with Drupal development
• Strong expertise in supporting technologies including:
  • PHP development and modern practices
  • Drupal module development and integration
  • Front-end technologies (Twig, JavaScript, CSS)
  • Site building and configuration management
  • Version control and Git workflows
  • Development environments and tools
• Demonstrated experience with:
  • Custom module development
  • Complex content modeling
  • API integration and development
  • Performance optimization
  • Automated testing
  • Deployment processes
  • Security best practices
• Working knowledge of:
  • Composer dependency management
  • Docker containers
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Database optimization
  • Caching strategies
  • Content migrations
• Familiarity with:
  • Government security requirements
  • Agile development practices
  • Technical documentation
  • Mentoring and code review
• Experience with government security requirements (FedRAMP, FISMA) preferred
