The Sr Director, Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing strategic messaging and marketing plans aligned with company objectives across product marketing, brand marketing, channel marketing, digital marketing, public relations and communications. This role, which reports into the CRO, leads global teams to generate qualified leads, analyze data to optimize marketing spend, and increase customer engagement and advocacy. Partnering with sales leadership, the Sr Director Marketing identifies opportunities for growing market share defining new routes to market.
Responsibilities:Create and execute a global marketing strategy/plan that drives awareness and aligns to the pipeline, revenue targets, product marketing and brand strategyCollaborate with leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing and messaging strategy encompassing public relations, social, brand marketing, product marketing and communications strategiesIdentify marketing, sales and channel enablement requirements and gather feedback on marketing activitiesCreate marketing and communication plans tailored to support company priorities, incorporating key messages and content to maximize positive exposure and enhance brand awareness in core and growth marketsManage a program for Marketing teams to effectively engage customers and stakeholders by communicating our product and brand messagingManage global and regional marketing budgets and program prioritizationAmplify the voice of the company through proactive outreach initiatives aimed at securing media coverage and increasing market awarenessWork closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and speaking engagements to further promote Promethean's brand and missionMonitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform communication strategies and adapt messaging accordinglyMeasure and analyze the effectiveness of efforts through key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing regular reports to leadershipEnsure that creative teams know what they need to create to meet brand and business objectivesHolds a key role in the planning and development of go-to-market brand storytelling campaigns and a global calendar which defines marketing prioritiesDrive creative workstreams with the internal creative team to bring the strategy to life visuallyWorks cross-functionally on the development of campaigns aligning to campaign strategyManages the relationship with agencies responsible for public relations and media-related communication activities to ensure positive, proactive messaging and discussions exist regarding PrometheanOversee the communication of official external and internal company messaging, including global public relations, social media, campaign content, and competitive intelligenceHelps develop strategies that increase the influence and reach among audiences and increase the share of voice and engagement across social media platformsOversee global persona-based content creation in line with our inbound marketing strategyEncourages and promotes cross-functional collaboration among internal teams, including brand, digital, and field marketing, and external agencies to scope and streamline initiatives while ensuring global consistencyDevelop, monitor, and share key performance indicators across the corporate communications strategyHire, motivate, and lead a high-performing team by embracing Promethean core valuesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; Master's degree preferred12+ years of marketing experience, preferably in related industry8+ years of marketing leadership experience managing diverse teams, providing valuable feedback, coaching, and mentoringProven track record of measurable success in developing and executing marketing strategies that build brand awareness and positive sentiment through modern marketing activitiesStrong understanding of public relations, brand marketing, and communications principles, with the ability to translate company objectives into actionable plansA proven storyteller, with a record of accomplishment of developing engaging content – including brief writing and providing feedback on creative conceptsStrategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and identify opportunities for brand exposure and engagementExperience managing cross-functional teams and driving collaboration across departments to achieve common goalsProficiency in using analytics tools and platforms to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and optimize strategiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing prioritiesStrong leadership skills with a collaborative and inclusive approach to problem-solvingKeen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect one anotherAbility to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, our partners, our products, or other departments’ operations and/or morale; “connecting the dots”Customer-centric and can identify and meet customer needsBase Range: $180,000 - $250,000 + Bonus Eligible
