About the role
The position of Fleet Manager is responsible for all functions of the fleet room including the fleet controllers in the Karawatha operation. Critical to this role is the ability to plan and coordinate daily activities, achieve KPI’s and identifying/actioning process improvements.
What you’ll do
In collaboration with the PM Fleet Manager, review the fleet and manning levels for maximum efficiency
Ensure the PUD fleet meet the agreed service levels
Ensure employees are performing their tasks to required standard
Customer management as required
Ensure all plant and equipment is adequately maintained and serviced as per schedules
Develop systems and processes to ensure PUD KPI’s are met
Work collaboratively with other business managers to achieve branch objectives
Coach and develop subordinates
Ensure all TGE safety procedures and policies are being adhered to
What you’ll bring
Demonstrated experience in a similar Operations leadership role preferably in Transport or Logistics Industry
Good understanding of Fleet Management and PUD operations
Proven ability to lead a team – engage with people to grow and foster positive and supportive working relationships and work environment
Ability to multitask and prioritise work to ensure deadlines and customer SLA`s are met
Proactive problem solver with a solutions and remedy mindset to optimise operational inefficiencies and service problems.
