About Role

As a Manager – Analytics, you will be leading a data-savvy team highly passionate about quantitative analytics, analytical tools, and techniques that would enhance product growth/performance. You will coordinate across teams such as product functions, data sciences & operations creating an analytical framework to dissect business, product, adoption, retention, and revenue. You will take initiative to build hypotheses around product problem statements and estimate the scope and impact of solutions. Additionally, you will conduct analysis – gather data, test hypotheses, deliver tactical statistical solutions, and provide final business recommendations while working in collaboration with the Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of highly capable analysts to drive the entire business unit with analytics and insights
  • Align with the necessary stakeholders while arriving at a strategy, with a keen insight on possible solutions to potential blockers and bottlenecks w.r.t to data analytics/management
  • Develop a deep understanding of core products and technologies within payments
  • Owning & providing analytical support to an entire product vertical of the company
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams on critical projects and independently develop solutions while leveraging data-driven insights to shape immediate product strategy
  • Drive the end-to-end analytics stack on business problems; from metric definitions to working with engineering teams to build data schemas and elements to bring out insights
  • Work with large, complex data sets to solve day-to-day evolving business problems and optimize run time to bring quicker & effective results
  • Work alongside the engineering and data-science team to produce advanced statistical
  • solutions along with extending help in developing state-of-art scientific solutions.

Desired Skills & Expectations:

  • 5+ years of experience in Analytics & Decision Sciences with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and provide insights that drive business decisions
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI and advanced Excel
  • Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies 3-6 Years of Data/Product Analytics expertise; 1-2 Years of leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelors in Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics from any of the top-tier colleges
