    Job Description

    As a Senior Manager of Subrogation Claims, you will lead the operational and strategic functions of the new high value subrogation claims team, overseeing 4-5 senior claims agents and maintaining relationships with third-party subrogation vendors and debt collection agencies.  

    YOUR ROLE AT SIXT 

    • You will manage and mentor a team of senior claims professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability
    • You will collaborate with third-party vendors and debt collection agencies to optimize service delivery and cost efficiency
    • You monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements
    • You supervise subrogation processes, ensuring compliance with state laws and company policies and oversee financial metrics and recovery performance, driving continuous improvement in operational workflows
    • You provide oversight into complex claims, including investigations, liability analysis, and settlement negotiations including total loss valuations
    • You define and track departmental KPIs, creating actionable strategies for performance improvement

    YOUR SKILLS MATTER 

    • Experience You have 5+ years of experience in subrogation claims or related fields, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
    • Education You have a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field (preferred)
    • Technical Proficiency You are proficient in claims management systems, familiarity with US subrogation laws, total loss and high value subrogation claims experience
    • Soft Skills You have strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities
    • Commitment to Excellence You are success-oriented and willing to take on multiple tasks
