Duties and Responsibilities:

Front-End Leadership:

•Design and implement front-end features and optimisations using React and Next.js.

•Ensure smooth performance, responsiveness, and a top-tier user experience.

•Proactively consider SEO impact in all front-end changes and site architecture decisions.

Technical SEO and Scalability:

•Collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement SEO-friendly features and improvements

•Design systems that can handle large-scale traffic while maintaining excellent load times and user experiences

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Growth Initiatives:

•Partner with the growth and marketing teams to develop landing pages, run A/B tests, and implement features that drive user acquisition and retention

•Work closely with our Lead Product Designer in Figma to ensure accurate implementation of UI/UX designs

•Contribute to our content engine, ensuring it aligns with both technical and growth objectives

Continuous Improvement:

•Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends; Specifically, must be extremely well versed in leveraging AI

•Suggest and champion improvements to our tech stack, architecture, and processes

Requirements

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

•Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, primarily focused on front-end (React, Redux, Hooks, Next.js)

•Proven track record of problem-solving and delivering scalable, high-performance front-end solutions

•Knowledge in SEO for large-scale B2C platforms, including a deep understanding of how front-end decisions affect search rankings and performance

•Experience with testing methodologies and a commitment to maintaining high code quality

•Exceptional English Communication Skills with the ability to convey technical decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

•Ability to proactively contribute to team discussions and problem-solving, ensuring active participation in meetings and collaborative efforts

•Product Mindset: Understands the importance of aligning technical decisions with business goals and user needs

Advantageous Skills:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Science, Engineering or related

•Startup/Scale-up experience —comfortable working in a fast-paced, autonomous environment where time is critical and every decision matters
