What you'll do:

As an SEO Manager, your role is to lead the development and execution of the SEO strategy, define the common project structures, and implement the required processes to help our customers achieve their SEO objectives. You will also lead, mentor, and grow a team of SEO Specialists.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• People Management - Managers deliver success through empowerment and accountability by demonstrating, coaching, and supporting all members of the team.
  • Demonstration - Show the team how to execute the key tasks, and embrace the systems and processes to ensure on-going development for the team members.
  • Coach - Define team objectives and outcomes; Enable success across teams; Help the team adapt and learn.
  • Support - Attract and retain great people; Know each individuals capabilities and aspirations; Invest in the growth of others.
  • Identify capacity and capability gaps and work with the management team to plan for growth.
  • Weekly 1 to 1 meetings with all direct reports.

• Internal Engagement & Communication

  • Through supportive engagement and delivery of SEO projects across the company, is seen as an approachable and open leader.
  • Lead & foster a culture of shared problem-solving across the group. Encourage and support other teams to learn and develop customer facing SEO solutions skills.
  • Ensure regular communications and consistent updates across the different delivery and customer teams.
  • Cross-collaborate with delivery teams to achieve a common goal for specific clients.

• Consistent & Predictable Execution

  • Work with the COO and other key leaders to define the SEO project plans and support required from other teams across the business.
  • Implement the project plans, process and tasks across the company to ensure alignment and a clear understanding of how we execute the SEO plans for different customers.
  • Define and implement the success metric for each project to ensure common goals with each customer.
  • Manage the team to ensure we are delivering quality work on time.

  • Individual customer SEO reviews
  • Customer strategy and project plan
  • Customer reports and monthly reviews
  • Keyword research
  • Technical audits - including structured data, crawl errors, robots.txt, redirects, analysing code etc.
  • Identify & understand how to fix website technical and speed issues affecting SEO performance
  • Title tags & meta descriptions
  • Header structure
  • Content optimisation - new content and optimisation of existing content
  • Interlinking and anchor text
  • Alt tags
  • Backlinks
  • Competitive assessment
  • New site design and UX review
  • Page structure and UX where relevant
  • Local SEO best practice
  • Setting up goal tracking (GTM / Analytics)
  • Google Search Console and Google Analytics auditing
  • Seek support and help from other leaders in the company.

• Innovation & Technical Updates 
  • Build a process with the team to understand & evaluate industry changes
  • Evaluate the impact of algorithm and AI updates
  • Provide insights to the wider team on relevant industry updates
  • Identify and recommend new tools to help improve the HBs SEO model
  • Research and test new technology to ensure it is suitable for the customer base

Successful candidates must have:

• Has 3 to 5 years of work experience in SEO or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Local SEO ranking factors, including local citations and geo-targeted content that influence local search results.
• Expertise in on-site and off-site SEO factors, with the ability to optimize website content and structure, and build quality backlinks to improve search engine rankings.
  
• Proficiency in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog for site analysis, keyword research, and performance tracking.
  
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Analytics, and Tag Manager for website monitoring, gaining user insights, and managing tags efficiently.

Work Arrangements:

• Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Philippine Time)
• Work Setup: Permanent Work-from-Home
