Join our Global S&OP and Planning team
As our new Sales & Operations Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal inventory levels, accurate forecasting, and efficient supply chain operations. Your analytical expertise will support key decision-making, helping to create a more stable and proactive planning process. This is a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across demand, operations, finance, logistics, and digital teams. The position will be based in Hempel’s headquarters in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, reporting to Irene Librenti, S&OP Process Manager.
What will you do?
Turn data into insights – Analyze demand and supply data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and recommend optimization strategies.
Enhance decision-making – Develop alternative planning scenarios and propose mitigating actions to reduce variability and increase stability.
Optimize inventory and service levels – Improve the interaction between forecasts, inventory levels, and master plans, ensuring the right balance between stock availability and operational efficiency.
Strengthen systems and processes – Support the development and improvement of planning tools, ensuring data quality and seamless integration across ERP and BI systems.
Collaborate globally – Work closely with stakeholders across Executive Management, Demand & Supply Planning, Logistics, Finance, Operations, and Digital to drive continuous improvement.
What makes you the right fit?
MSc or BSc in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience with advanced planning tools and strong proficiency in ERP systems (experience with AX/D365 is a plus).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into business insights.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
A structured and solution-oriented mindset, with curiosity and the ability to think outside the box.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment.
