Overview:
Groups Recover Together is an outpatient addiction medicine provider that delivers comprehensive outpatient treatment for opioid addiction. Based on the principle that recovery is tied to aspects of life that are beyond the reach of an office visit, our care model includes three core modalities that are proven to help individuals get their lives back on track -- medication, weekly group therapy, and care navigation. Responsibilities:
At Groups, the Provider Support Manager will be the “go to” person for providers. This person will work to maximize the effectiveness and impact of Groups’ providers, working closely with the Medical Director, State Director, Regional Directions and HR to answer questions and problem solve. The Provider Support Manager will manage a team of providers across multiple locations. This role reports to the Director of Medical and Clinical Staff.
Essential Functions:

- Maintain processes and documentation for successful credentialing and accreditation for current and new providers, while adhering to guidelines
- Manage individual provider/clinician licensing (initiate and renewals)
- Support acquisition of CME for clinical development
- Discover innovative ways to problem solve and iterate on existing processes
- Communicate risks, key decisions and milestones to leadership
- Complete post-project assessments to continually measure impact of process improvement efforts
- Maintain internal credentialing system to ensure data is stored consistently and accurately
- Assist in collecting expiring documents and re-verification as needed
- Deliver structured and effective onboarding for new providers that conveys technical knowledge and imparts culture
- Provide sufficient support to providers, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed and assist them on their first day (VC / Screen Share)
- Partner with local staff and leaders on creating and maintaining a master provider group schedule to ensure optimal compliance with DEA, billing and attendance regulations
- Maintain comprehensive database of provider availability and desire of hours, with quarterly refresh based on input of the providers
- Assist local leaders in sourcing existing providers to expand their local capacity and match provider supply with member demand
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule initial training and shadowing sessions
- Ensure adequate technical and clinical support at initial clinical sessions
- Assist in triaging the many questions that arise during the provider’s first month
- Cultivate a positive team environment where the mission and values of Groups come to lift
- Assist cross functional teams disseminate ongoing training
- Work with state leaders to improve and streamline payroll process; overtime, oversee and manage the new process
- Maintain a helpful library of provider resources and best practices in collaboration with Medical Director
- Responsible for connecting with State and Medical Directors on a regular basis to discuss communication and training needs
- Establishing a consistent communication cadence with providers with the assistance of State and Medical Director
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in basic provider eCW functions to assist in answering common questions for new providers
- Ability to understand the market’s scheduling needs and make recommendations to the State Directors and Recruiting on how to shape the new-provider pipeline to best serve the needs of the business
- Ability to work with highly confidential information and adhere to compliance guidelines
- Present clear, confident and culturally sensitive communication style
- Skilled with de-novo schedule creation, maintenance, troubleshooting and analysis
- Highly proficient in spreadsheet usage to keep high quality records of administrative data
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be personable in their interactions with others, yet professional
- Possess passion about our mission, willing to go above and beyond to get the job done
- Ability to use discretion and work independently under general supervision
- Ability to understand and adhere to the Professional Code of Conduct
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working directly with providers in an administrative capacity
- 2+ years of scheduling oversight experience, preferably in a clinical setting
- CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) and/or CPMSM (Certified Professional Medical Services Management) certifications preferred
- For remote roles, access to reliable internet and telephone services, specifically download speeds over 40 Mbps and upload speeds over 10 Mbps as well as a strong WiFi signal from your remote work location.
- Must meet pre-employment requirements and maintain all applicable state and job-related guidelines for background screening. Depending on state-specific requirements, this may include fingerprinting, drug testing, health screening, CPR/Basic First Aid and license/credential verifications.
