However, when it comes to the back-office, most farms are decades behind, relying on spreadsheets, filing cabinets, and decades-old on-prem software to recruit, manage, and pay their workforce. Seso is addressing this problem by modernizing the back-office for the farm.
Our mission is to build the premier platform for agribusiness to hire and manage their workforce and improve the lives of agricultural workers. We are addressing American farmers’ biggest pain point - access to qualified labor - through a software-enabled labor solution that automates the H-2A visa. Our comprehensive HR platform streamlines and automates the hiring process for farms and seamlessly integrates their efforts across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and insurance while providing workers access to financial services for the first time.

About the Role
Seso’s modern platform provides employers with orders of magnitude increases in efficiency, while helping them stay compliant and communicate with their workforce. We are changing the way our customers do business, and they want more of our help. We are looking for an Innovation Product Manager to own creation and delivery of a roadmap of new product ideas that will make a step-change in the our customers’ businesses and in Seso’s.
The role has both a high level of autonomy and ownership. You will be responsible for working with a diverse set of senior leaders to look across the agribusiness landscape and identify new pools of value for Seso (think working at high abstraction levels to solve key company business goals vs. solve a specific problem). You will be responsible for designing and implementing a prioritization framework, identifying the most attractive opportunities, and defining solutions — this is a role that is as much “zero to one” as “pre-zero to zero.” We want someone capable of going broad and deep, and using data to understand when to switch modes.
