Role Overview

As the Head of Account Management, you will lead and scale the account management team, ensuring best-in-class client service and retention. You will set up processes, define KPIs, and drive a structured, goal-oriented approach to managing client relationships. This is a strategic leadership role focused on optimizing customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and expand a team of Account Managers (currently three members, with planned growth).
  • Process & KPI Development: Establish workflows, reporting structures, and performance metrics to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Client Relationship Management: Oversee key accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Service Excellence: Drive a client-centric approach, ensuring quick issue resolution and top-tier customer service.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (compliance, product, risk, and sales) to improve service offerings and address client needs.
  • Market & Industry Analysis: Monitor trends in high-risk payments, providing insights to shape company strategy.
  • Reporting: Provide senior leadership with data-driven reports on team performance, client feedback, and market trends.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 3 years in the payments industry, with a strong focus on high-risk sectors (gambling, forex, etc.).
  • Leadership: Minimum 1 year of experience managing a team in account management or customer success.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of payment processing, risk management, and industry regulations.
  • Languages: Fluent in Russian and English (both written and spoken).
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities. Proven track record of building and optimizing processes.
  • Work Setup: Remote or hybrid, based anywhere in the EU. The head office is in Riga, but relocation is not required.
