Industrial Enterprise Vertical, Global Account Director is a senior position, that develops and maintains business for significant global industrial accounts. The primary focus of the role is on selling / improving logistics solutions, including road, freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, and other value-added services. This role is integral in establishing and maintaining long-term strategic relationships that typically go beyond the sale of a single point solution. This position requires a high degree of analytical skills and industry knowledge to unlock hidden value that may not be readily identifiable to our clients.

Your responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive account plan aimed at maintaining existing business and identifying the top opportunities
Managing named global industrial accounts, in accordance with agreed financial and performance targets based on DSV processes
Developing solutions for the named global customers; leveraging DSV vertical structure and competencies into innovative developments
Work closely with operations to deliver high level of service to customers Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers at all levels within an account
Understand the customer’s buying process
Understand the customer’s business (strategically, operationally, & financially)
Work closely with customers to intimately understand their needs Work across all divisions within DSV to create custom solutions that deliver value to customers
Maintain an open dialogue with the account executive sponsor and keep the sponsor engaged in the account
Engage with DSV’s Senior stakeholders to get needed support to meet agreed targets
Preferred Candidate shall:
Have an advance level of business acumen
Possess strong creative problem solving and analytical skills
Be a self-motivated team player Have good proficiency with the Microsoft suite of Office products
Easily engage with internal stakeholders and develop network around your accounts
Have a deep interest into Green solutions to support customer’s decarbonization strategy
Experience and Education: Have a proven track record of sales success within the industry
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in logistics and supply chain management
Minimum 5 years of recent global account management experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry
Have subject matter expert grade knowledge of the Industrial customers.
Travel:
Flexibility to travel – mainly within your region but also globally if needed
