We are looking for a SERVICE CONSULTANT (f/m/d) to join our team at Innomotics.

Your Future Role

Performs mainly pre-defined, technical tasks for medium voltage variable speed drives (for example, commissioning of products and systems, preventive and reactive maintenance jobs) and work packages on-site and remotely.
Supports customer remotely and onsite and provides 2nd and 3rd level user support in case of arising issues.
Coordinates and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers equipment.
Conducts customer plant and equipment audits to identify effective maintenance and spare parts management strategies.
Adheres to defined processes and applicable regulations.
Ensures own safety as well as that of others
Quality focussed
Zero-harm safety approach
Must be willing to do Standby
Adherence and understanding of EHS Protocols/legislation
ECSA Registration as a Professional Technician (PR Techni) Advantageous
Must be competent in Advanced levels of Microsoft Office Suite in order to draw and write various
types of reports

Your Profile

National Diploma - Heavy Current Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Relevant experience in the operation and maintenance of medium voltage semiconductors and
variable speed drive equipment
Knowledge of heavy industrial processes in the mining industry
3-5 years Relevant VSD Experience (Installation, Commissioning and Support)
Must have demonstratable experience in the Commissioning and Service of MV Drives
Experience in various MV Drive Technologies (Advantageous) (Multicell/Cyclo Converters etc)
Must be willing to travel extensively around South Africa and Africa
