My client, a Microsoft Partner are seeking an experienced SharePoint Migration Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on complex SharePoint migration projects, helping customers transition from legacy and on-premises versions of SharePoint using their custom migration tool.
Key Responsibilities
Working on SharePoint migration projects from on-premise and legacy systems to modern SharePoint environments.
Utilize a custom migration tool alongside third-party tools to deliver tailored solutions.
Assess customer environments, identify migration challenges, and implement best practices.
Work closely with technical teams and clients to ensure seamless migration with minimal disruption.
Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize performance for successful project delivery.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience in SharePoint migrations, including on-premises to online transitions.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, content management, and governance.
Hands-on experience with bespoke migration approaches and third-party tools such as ShareGate, AvePoint, or Metalogix.
Ability to analyze complex environments and develop migration strategies.
Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and technical teams.
Contract Details
Fully Remote - Work from anywhere within the UK.
Outside IR35 - Flexible engagement model.
